My passion for tennis started when I was just fifteen, playing for the first time. I focused all my energy in the game and as a competitive player, I have been ranked at 5.5 (Level). I was a member of our club’s team for five years, which competed in the strongest National Division. I went to earn my Coaching training and soon after I started to teach tennis at the very renowned Tennis Club Phoceen in Marseille (honored by the French Tennis Federation in 2000).
I have trained and coached many great young and upcoming players who competed at the National and International level.
While coaching, I continued my studies to obtain a Masters 2 in « High Performance Training » at the University of Sports Sciences in Marseille, France, and taught at the university for 20 years. I had the privilege to help training the next generation of coaches, educators and competitive players.
At the Tennis Club Phoceen, I worked as a sport director and managed the tennis camps for 20 years. This led me to become more involved in the management, communication and the marketing aspect of the sport and our club. I was also responsible for creating and directing events at the Tennis Club.
During my 30-years career in teaching and coaching, I had the opportunity to work with Patrice Hagelauer (Director of the French Tennis Federation and coach of a French Open winner) and Alain Lambert (Guy Forget’s coach and French Davis Cup Captain). I am thankful for the knowledge and learning opportunities I gained working with such experienced coaches.
I have always been excited and thrilled to share with others my love for this sport. I am passionate about the game and coaching and enjoy working with children and adults alike.
